It started snowing at about 3 this afternoon. Not settled much though.

Project finished.

Finally finished the spare room project. Just a lamp shade and some furniture to go. Moved on to new project. Started re-painting the stairs and hallway.

We're finally getting somewhere with decorating the spare room. Electrics going in at the moment. Then it's more, filling, sanding and painting.

OMG - this really has just come from my mobile. Looks like mobile blogging is up and running.

Technology!!!

Our camera's broken, so no pictures for a while. Just 'googled' it and it appears to be a common problem on Canons (it's a E18 lens error), it's in warranty but not found the receipt yet!!

I'm still trying with the updating from my phone thing but not mamaged a photo yet!!

Happy Birthday Uncle Peter!

Stu's Uncle Peter came over from Canada to celebrate his 60th Birthday with family and friends back home. Didn't take too many photos throughout the party but did take these right at the end of the night.

Don't know who was enjoying baloon 'keepy uppy' the most the kids or Andy and David!

New Project!

Stu's started a new project. The small bedroom. New ceiling, wals & ceiling to be plastered, new electics, decorating etc.

Last BBQ of the year!

Not updated blog for a while. Since the last blog we've got in one final BBQ of the year! Was quite chilly late on so we had to light a fire!

Fence Done & Curry Night

We've finally finished our fence. Now we've only the grouting of the gaps to do and the patio's finished.

Afer finishing the fence cooked Popadums, onion bhajis and Lamb curry with Paneer. Ok picture don't really do it justice.

Verdict - Popudums & chutney and Onion bhajis were great, curry was good but think will give the Paneer a miss next time!

House now smells like a our favourite curry place so must be doing something vaguely OK

Doing Curry Night in memory of Dad. Going to do Onion Bhajis (Stuart's Favourite so I hope they go OK) & Peters Lamb Curry (from one of the Jamie Oliver books. Also for afters Summer Pudding.

Hope it all goes OK I've part prepared the curry as it takes ages to cook and we've the final stage of the Fence Saga to finish off.

Fence Building Part 2

Second stage of fence building. All fence posts and panels built and up. Only the top rail to put on. Grouting the cracks and then we can have that BBQ summer!!??!!

We're just in the process of builting a fence round our patio. This is the first step. One fence panel built only 4 to go!

RIP Grandma

Was Stuart and his twin Sisters birthday as well as brother-in-law David, so we had a lovely roast tea at Stuart's Mum & Dad's house There were lots of party games and then came the traditional spit on the Birthday cake.
