Drunken Chicken!! Yum Yum!!

Found a fab new recipe for the BBQ - Drunken Chicken/Beer Can Chicken/Beer Butt Chicken

Light your BBQ, put the coals around the outside and a foil tray in the middle for catching drips. When the coals are ready, open a can of beer and drink half. Then stab a few holes round the top part of the can.

Get your chicken - smear it in oil, rub it in whatever herbs & spices you want and sit your chicken on the beer can so it forms a kind of tripod.

Sit your chicken on the grill. Put the lid on your BBQ. Leave to cook for about 2 hours (or 'til done), you might have to add extra coals to keep it going. The chicken stays moist and the skin goes amazingly crispy.

    Off out to have a fire in our fire pit.......wee log stump lined thingy that we light fires outside in!!! - obviously not as good as your new shiny bbq!

  2. No car hasn't been washed for weeks and we've no garage doors to wash on a weekend either.
