Stuart, Will, Jud, Eddie & Rob went on a jolly-boy's weekend camping near Settle. So me and Karen planned our own weekend.
Friday - Boring shopping and then a fab curry from the Shimla Spice in Keighley http://www.shimlaspice.co.uk/ then spent the evening in the gazebo chatting until the small hours.
Saturday - Went on a great local walk. Down the canal from Bingley to Saltaire, then a quick drink in the newly renovated Boat House. Through the newly revamped Robert's Park which is looking great, then up Shipley Tram way (which was unfortunately closed for renovation), then on to Shipley Glen.
On through towards Eldwick, and down Park Road and back in to Bingley. I don't know who was the most tired, me, Karen or the two dogs.
BBQ in the evening and then watched the new Sherlock Holmes film.
Sunday - The return of the boys and a BBQ.
